About Edge Of Time Border Collies
Lanny Gunter and his family began to carry on the Edge of Time Border Collies program based out of Camden, SC in 2025. He is both honored and humbled at the opportunity as it has been a lifelong dream of his to work with and raise dogs. Lanny is an entrepreneur, a veteran, a quail hunting guide and dog trainer. It is his goal to continue the level of excellence that you have experienced as part of the EOT Family. Lanny was drawn to the Border Collie's energy, drive and toughness. He says "Their Never Quit attitude is something that I can relate to. I look forward to breeding, training and competing with the best dogs you have ever owned."
Missy Abbott while living in Vermont began Edge of Time Border Collies back in 2001. She was raised on a horse, cattle and sheep farm where her parents used Border Collies for herding. It was there where her passion and love for this breed was born. For over 20 years she and her family have dedicated their lives to breeding healthy, intelligent, driven and loving Border Collies. If you’ve spent any time at all talking with Missy you know how special her dogs are to her and you would quickly learn how important you, the customer are to her as well. She built an amazing line of dogs but also built a family, the EOT Family.
We are so Blessed by the Lord to have these beautiful animals in our lives! We proudly give a portion from each puppy sale to a charity or a local rescue. We ask that you please support your local shelters and clinics by donating to help towards spay, neutering and operational costs.
